Hello, I would like to know how much a medical malpractice lawyers makes. Also, what cateory of law is it?

Do malpractice lawyers make good money? Are jobs readily available for them? If I were to try and study for this field of law..what category would it fall under ? (business, criminal, corporate..etc law).
