Is it wrong to do drugs for the first time so that you know how a psychedelic experience feels?

It's no different than putting a bullet in a revolver and seeing if you die or not. I know a man who has been in a vegetative state for several years because of doing acid once. It promotes nothing that is real and not everyone has the same experience. I don't know what you read but I have first hand experience as a drug/alcohol case manager and I can honestly say that I have seen a lot of harm come from psychedelics. I witness several go from the detox unit straight to the long term care facility (nursing home).
