What is a good thesis statement for a compare and contrast paper on buying new clothes vs. used clothes?

I am in an adv. LA cl and we are writing magazines and mine is called Luxe, and the theme is living luxe without spending like it, so i am writing a comp and cont on buying new clothes vs. buying used clothes and i am completely lost. please help meh.
