Well, the only thing I could think of other than what was said above me is this. Your house is an enclosed shell, so whenever sound s that shell it echos, although we don't hear the echo. While out side the sounds do not echo off of anything, you are not contained to four walls, the sounds inside that shell have a harder time escaping the walls and not just echoing back. This is probably not the most logical answer on Yahoo, but it does make some kind of sense. At least in my head. echo.echo...echo......echo...........ech…
